Position Title: Assistant Project Officer - Shelter

Reports to: Project Officer - Shelter
Catholic Relief Services is an international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States and has been present in the Jerusalem, West Bank, and Gaza since 1961. The CRS JWBG country program currently supports development/relief programs and activities in the sectors of civil society, humanitarian assistance, youth development, education, and peace & justice. CRS JWBG is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Officer (APO) to assist in the implementation of our Transitional Shelter construction and rehabilitation of damaged structures in Gaza. The APO will support the project officer (PO) in the implementation of project activities in a variety of areas in Gaza, including planning and follow up with the local partner, monitoring of the construction process, ensuring high work quality in the field, participation in beneficiary selection process, maintenance of proper project documentation and accurate reporting, monitoring and evaluation.
